Important Chiefs Legislative Day Information
We will assemble at 8:30 AM in the Longleaf Pine Room of the NC Museum of History (map attached showing museum and recommended parking lot). You will be briefed on legislative issues and information on office location of your legislators and lunch options.
At 8:45 we will proceed as a group to Room 415, Legislative Office Building, where several legislators including the House and Senate leadership will discuss relevant issues with us.
At 11:15 we will assemble on the red carpet steps inside the main entrance to the Legislative Building for a group photo.
You are encouraged to visit your own legislators to express your views on legislative issues.
Please wear your uniform—it makes a strong impression as a group. Firearms are allowed to credentialed law enforcement officers in uniform.

Regions 5 & 7 - The meeting will be held on April 30, 2024 in Raleigh. The NCACP Board of Directors will hold their Quarterly Meeting immediately following the Regional Meeting. The Membership is welcome to attend.
