UNCP Police and Public Safety is a full-service law enforcement agency whose primary responsibility is the protection of life and property on campus. Our officers are certified by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Division and provide police protection 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The North Carolina Department of Justice, led by the Attorney General of North Carolina, represents the state, state agencies, and elected officials, and defends the rights of the people of North Carolina. The Department handles all state criminal appeals cases and assists district attorneys with complex criminal cases at their request.

The mission of the North Carolina State Ports Authority is to be the gateway to global markets and to enhance the economy of North Carolina by supporting and improving the state's logistics network. North Carolina State Ports Authority operates North Carolina's ports of Wilmington and Morehead City, and inland terminals in Charlotte and Piedmont Triad at Greensboro.
